North Shore -Hangar Open Day Tiger Moth

 North Shore held a Open day on the 15th January to lovely weather and many hangars were open for viewing and talk to owners and taking pictures without any problems.

A first for me was this Lovely Tiger Moth ZK-BJR /NZ-1425 outside its hangar ,Without an open day,something like this would never of been witnessed so thank you North shore Airport for a great Idea.Take note please other Airfields in NZ.We love to see your aircraft in the flesh and not wrapped away in a bullet proof hangar.

North Shore Flyin-Open Hangar DAY

North shore Aero Club organized a Hangar Open Day from 9-1pm back on the 15th January,and allowing selective persons turning up access to many privately owned Hangars on the field.

Myself and Mark Mabey took the opportunity to attend and wasn't dissapointed with the outcome .

A big thank you to the Aero Club and Private aircraft owners to allow us to walk around the airfield and access the hangars and take pictures and talk to many owners of the aircraft displayed.
