Pauanui airfield visits.Pt 1

Mercury Aero Club hosted an open day and mini airshow on the 22nd October and myself,Jordan Elvy and Simon Hills attended the event , driving up from Tauranga we dropped into Pauanui first to see what was on show.Below is the results.

Weekend trip to Various Airfields

 Yesterday 14th October, was  to be the Tiger Moth's annual spring fly-in to Taumarunui, but due to the  weather forecast's everyone decided not to fly in  as when I arrived to Taumarunui there was no aircraft in sight,but eventually only one arrived.ZK-KRD C180 .

Therefore,travelling back on Sunday I went to the nearest airfield, Te Kuiti. Dead but I did see these locals:

Visitors to Tauranga

 A couple of visits to Tauranga on the 31st July -1st August produced some new sightings for me with the King Air and Embraer E190 where the bonuses.
