Black Sands 2020 fly-in at Te Kowhai

  The Waikato Chapter of the Sport Aircraft Association of NZ held their annual Black Sands flyin at Te Kowhai airfield situated just NW of Hamilton City last saturday 14th November to lovely sunny weather,

Normally it is held over at the nearby surfing town of Raglan air strip over a weekend but due to lack of help from the Raglan Council it was moved to a one day event at Te Kowhai.

Unfortunately i was unable to attend due to family bereavement but my colleague in crime Peter Mole tagged along and produced the following of over 70 visiting aircraft.

Bay of Plenty Airfield residents

 Here in the Bay of Plenty in the Eastern side of North Island in NZ ,we have a few airfields dotted around and with the exception of Tauranga which has been covered ,i would like to highlight possible residents and the mentioned airfields below where it might be witnessed or photographed.

Tokoroa held their annual Aero club flyin on Sunday November 1st to a pleasant day with over 20 aircraft visiting as well as majority of private hangars opened for the publicto gain access.Thank you Tokoroa airfield residents for permission to look around without any complaints.
