Over the 1-2nd February I spent my first ever visit to Whitianga ,so an airfield visit was in order but as usual on Kiwi airfields ,majority of hangars were locked up hiding their residents from my prying eyes.
However,there were a few planes on view and all were visitors so some pictures were taken and after leaving on the sunday back to Tauranga,i slight !!! detour to P auanui airstrip was on offer and again with warm but gusty winds ,very little was on show but below is what was available at both.
