The Walsh Memorial Scout Flying School has its annual flying scheme Programme yearly here at Matamata Airfield where students arrive on mass and pitch up tents .
Myself and Peter Mole attended the family day on Sunday 20th January 2019 and ventured around the airfield hoping for opened hangars to witness the prize inside but alas very few were open. .
