Ardmore Airfield arranged a Amistice Air Day on the 18th November to commemorate the 100 yrs of the end of WW1.
The star attractions were the First public view of the renovated Mosquito and P.39 Air Cobra for Texan Billionaire Rob Lewis in USA.
So departing Tauranga on board Cessna172 ZK-TAI with Russ Borman as Captain ,myself as co-pilot and Peter Mole as our passenger !!! we flew to Ardmore via a scenic view of Auckland before landing and enjoying the day ahead.
