Visitors noted into Tauranga over November

Thanks to Peter Mole and Neil Williams , Here are a few visitors noted landing into TRG during November and early December

McDonnell -Douglas 500N ZK-IJD operated by Amalgamated Helicopters NZ Limited  based at Masterton/Hood Airfield probably visiting Rotorfix hangar.

Visiting up from Hastings/Bridge Pa was privately owned Cessna 172 D ZK-CEY

Build at nearby Hamilton ,is Pacific Aerospace P750XL ZK-ASA which was  recently re-registered to Kiwi Air Ltd down at Gisbourne

Going back to the 60,s were to former RNZAF machines parked up outside Classic Flyers hangar.The DC3C-S1C3G was ZK-DAK /NZ3546 from Ardmore  alongside based DH104 Devon ZK-KTT /NZ1808 

Hidden away in one of the outer hangars for a while was resident Cessna 150G  N5JP c/n 15065872.Nice to see it flying at last.

Cessna 172 N ZK-TRS seen departing 07 r/way heading back to its residents strip at Tarras.

The luxury of having Solo Wings HQ based at Tauranga is been able to witness all imported Tecnam aircraft into NZ and thanks to the team Tecnam P2002 Sierra MK II ZK-EVE seen outside Solo wings Eng Hangar before going to its private owner at Parakai Airfield NW of Auckland City

Based in Central North island of Te Kuiti ,Western Helicopters EurocopterAS350 B2 ZK-IZP seen here taking off after a gas n go stop.

The second newly arrived import Tecnam to Solo Wings P2008 T ZK-TLT based at Ardmore and operated by Tecnam Australasia Limited.

A recent new resident arrival to Tauranga is Bell 206 B ZK-HOD owned by The MacIntyre Family Trust .

Its not a common site to see a Cessna 320 E visit Tauranga but this welcomed one was up from either New Plymouth or the owners private strip at Ingelwood/Norfolk Farm . ZK-EGN owned by Brett Emeny and Syndicate.Thanks to Neil Williams who shot this photo.

This is Frank Wright,s latest immaculate restored Cessna 180 A ZK-CGJ parked outside Franks engineering hangar prior to I believe a test flight from the next picture shown below.We are blessed with peoples skills here at Tauranga Airport on turning out classic aircraft restorations.
