On a recent visit to campus Airport some 40 minute drive SW of DXB with a fellow spotter Volker ,was this Oasis airfield of Marghan ,home to Sky Dubai parachute Group which are very busy operating from 2 locations.Marghan Airport in the desert and their other airfield situated at Dubai Marina which I will visit at a later date.
Sky Dubai operate 3 Twin Otter aircraft and occasionally a Shorts 330 which was hidden away in a distant hangar but we were able to witness two Twin Otters ,DU-SD5 and DU-SD7,
Also on the airfield was an abandoned Antonev AN-2 EW-43966 which looking at it has met its final resting place with her wings missing altogether.

 |
Antonev AN-2 EW-43966 minus wings.Previously it used to reside at Fujariah in the NW region of UAE until being rescued and brought here. |
