Busy Sunday at Tauranga

On a pleasant NW wind and a mild 15oc Locals at Tauranga on Sunday gone,I took advantage of excellent flying weather with these captured at the airfield.

Seen taxing back to its hangar is Jodel D.11 ZK-KCD

Parked up in its  hangar was Murphy Rebel ZK-MSR.

Preparing a local flight to Matakana Island  area was Cessna 152 ZK-TAE.

Arriving back from a trip to Raglan  I believe was Tecnam P2002 Sierra RG  ZK-SRG

With  high cloud formation  towards Taupo and Tokoroa a couple of Local Tauranga Gliding club gliders headed off to the area and flying at heights of 9000 feet. ZK-GXT was the first to been air towed .

It looks like local resident Tecnam P2002  ZK-MEL is lined up against Air Nelson,s Dash 8 for the first to take off !!!!
