July visitors noted at Tauranga

With a wet July recorded,visitors were down but here are a few noted between the rain.

Rotorua Airport visit

On Monday 6th July,I dropped into Rotorua airport for a quick nose around and as usual not much to view but was pleasantly surprised of Auckland based DHC-1 Beaver float plane  ZK-AMA parked out side Rotorua Aero club building and along to other hangars was resident Cessna U206F  ZK-CBT parked outside.

Interesting visitors into Tauranga

Since Covid-19 level 1 came into play Tauranga has seen a spate of visitors grace our airport during the last few days and here is the crop of the bunch.

Trip to Whakatane Airport

On a quite overcast day,i dropped into Whakatane so see what was around and pictured what  was noted around at the time
