Trip to Christchurch Int and Rangiora Airfield April 2025

 Over easter ,I flew into Christchurch for my first visit so with the weather limiting my visits, Sunday was the only half decent day so thanks to Dave Mcfarlin, he picked me up and took me to Rangiora followed by a return visit to Christchurch Int.

Unfortunately both were very quite mainly due to the inclement weather but here is what i noted on the 20th April 25

A visit to RNZAF Museum at Wigram

 Over the Easter break ,I flew down into Christchurch and on the 20th April 25,I visited the RNZAF Museum at the former RNZAF Base at Wigram.

It is free to NZ nationals and NZ$ 15 for  International visitors to enter and below is what i witnessed on the day.

Unfortunately the Reserve collection was un-available  to view on the day but there are some opportunities on specified days.

Trip to Auckland and Matamata

 Driving up to Auckland Int on the 13th April to drop off grandchildren ,i managed to capture a couple of visiting Bizjets before heading back to Tauranga via a pit stop at Matamata.
