Classic Flyers Aermacchi 339 had its first engine run to day.

It took three goes, the first two were hot starts, the third go went well and run for about 2 mins

It was nice to see this Gippsland GA8 at Tauranga airport this morning.

Owned by SALT AIR of Kerikeri Northland.

Visits to DWC Airport-Al Maktoum

On various trips to DWC you come across variety of Soviet rare built cargo and transport aircraft and this vast airport in the middle of the desert miles from Dubai itself.The Airport is building up slowly with Wizz and FlyDubai operating out of here as rumors say that by the end of 2017 Fly Dubai operations will transfer totally from DXB and lock stock barrel into DWC.
