 Tauranga received another new resident during October coming all the way from its previous owner at Dunedin/Taieri Airfield

John Hansen,s Private Airstrip in Waikato

 Travelling back from the Tiger Moth Rally at Taumarunui on the 19th October,myself and Neil williams decided to drop into John Hansen,s airstrip on the 20th October to view his collection of aircraft in his hangar.

Thankfully John was kind enough to escort us to view his collection,so a very big thank you for John,s hospitality and opening up his hangar to allow me to photo his prize assets.

Taumarunui Tiger Moth gathering 2024

 Taumarunui Aerodrome hosted their annual weekend gathering  from 18th-20th October 2024 ant this year the weather played kindly with a warm sunny overcast day for all to enjoy.
