Falcon 7X PP-CFJ visits Rotorua
Noted by Pete (Hairy Rat ) Mole on a wet 23rd May afternoon at Rotorua from Papeete was this rare Brazilian Falcon 7X PP-CFJ operated by Grand Moinho CE SA landing at 3.45pm and stayed overnight before departing south to Queenstown on the 25th May .staying for 2 days at Queenstown,The Falcon departed 2.20pm bound for Melbourne/Tullamarine.

Strongs wings Tip-over Cessna at Tauranga
Mount Maunganui yesterday on the 14th May was hit by a mini Tornado on Thursday evening causing damage to various properties near the Airport.
Unfortunately,today during Friday afternoon Tauranga was suddenly hit by a massive strong squall and unfortunately Sunair,s Cessna 172 ZK-DKK was flipped over onto its back causing damage to the Tail,Rudder,propeller and upper Main-planes.As a result of the damage the aircraft has now been declared as a write-off.We will see !!!
Thankfully both occupants on-board managed to escape without any serious injury.

RNZAF BELL UH1H IROQUOIS
RNZAF 3 Hueys made there last visit to Tauranga yesterday. They gave ex Vietnam Soldiers flights around the Bay to there delight and bringing back good and sad memories.

Post restoration flight of Cessna 180 ZK-BVV
On a lovely summer autumn day on 1st May ,Frank Wrights re-built Cessna 180 ZK-BVV seen here taking off grass RW 25 for the first time after a lengthy rebuild in Franks hangar at Tauranga .It makes a nice change to not see a Beaver leave his hangar so now BVV make it 4 resident C.180,s residing in Tauranga.
